Due to the current situation I have decided that after 5.00 pm today the shop will be open on a more flexible ad hoc basis.
You can still find everything for sale on my Facebook and Instagram pages and if you wish to purchase any items including the wonderful Frenchic paint please call or message me on 07904 587279 so that I may arrange payment and collection at designated times either from the shop or my other base in Bradley Stoke, Bristol.
I can also arrange local or national delivery if required.
I will still be busy behind the scenes getting on with things, including some minor renovations at the shop, so I will be very much around for as long as I am able to.
Please stay well all of you and thank you so much for your continued support which means so much to me.
You’re all wonderful!
Lots of love
We run Furniture Painting Courses at the shop, which are an intimate affair with usually only 3 people at a time. We do the Beginner’s course in which you will paint a small item of your choice that you bring along. We do Advanced courses in which you will take away a panel on which you will have tried out various different paint techniques. See our Paint Courses page.
Fifi’s Fancy Furniture was created to indulge my passion for all things beautiful. It was a way of combining my life long interest in design, furniture, colour, texture, up-cycling, recycling and revamping furniture and artefacts that would sit well in traditional or contemporary settings alike.
For it to work for me it has to be aesthetically pleasing, functional and/or of sentimental attachment to fit in with my ethos.
My style is chic rather than shabby, eclectic and quirky, but above all it has to be well painted and finished to a high standard so that the piece will stand the test of time. I get completely absorbed in each piece that I do relishing in the transformation process.
Fifi – My passion is all things aesthetic and creative. I have always enjoyed collecting pretty or unusual furniture. I love colour and using it in the form of paint to up-cycle, revamp and transform pieces using various methods. I completely lose myself when I am immersed in the processes. I love the excitement of sourcing new pieces, through auctions, charity shops, friends and relatives. I am only too happy to import my knowledge & enthusiasm to all. I do commissions for clients and offer one to one tutorials/classes.
